"Apart from Me, You can do Nothing: a Spiritual Explanation for the Origins of Mankind" is Akilah Holder's first book.  It is premised on the belief that the Christian God exists, and gives a logical explanation of His relationship between Himself and mankind.  In the book, Holder -- who battled depression -- also recounts her own personal realization that only a close relationship with God could revolutionize her life, bringing her out of her depression.
